Falcon Singles - Falcon Scapes Vol2 released

Falcon Scapes Vol2 contains a wealth of soundscapes, multi-sampled and synthesized pads, icy, abyssal and ominous drones, minimal and edgy sequences, impacts and stabs, beautiful cinematic textures, wondrous and haunting tones and some extraordinary dry and processed samples of sound sculptures made of huge springs, tubes and pipes. Processed vocal sounds and some ethereal choir textures perfect this library to the max.

Often granular textures and sample maps are layered with Falcon's internal sound generators creating dense and fascinating sounds usable for a wide variety of genres. Quite a few samples were borrowed from the patchpool Iris subscription-library, all other samples were created exclusively for this library.

Many presets make use of Falcon’s multi-granular and sampling engine and there are also patches included using the wavetable, FM, pluck and analog oscillators. Many of these presets are running in split mode and/or layer sound textures via key-switches. Up to 25 Macros and switches plus the modulation wheel are assigned in each patch, many also use aftertouch, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude and pitch modulations, EQ-ing, dynamics, stereo animation, effects and more.

Often complex tempo-synced modulation assignments are programmed so that these patches can provide interesting rhythmical animations. All patches use some sort of background image in the UI, split patches have colored key-zones in the Falcon keyboard for easier navigation.

Colored Spaces for Adaptiverb released!

Colored Spaces for Adaptiverb contains 178 creative patches (including 9 variations), many of them making use of the unique spectral filtering feature implemented into the plug-in. Dozens of sonic footprints from acoustic, vocal and electronic sources were captured and tested on various input sources, creating a diverse collection of spaces suitable for ambient/cinematic/experimental music and sound design. Some tonal spaces using the pitch quantization and resonance feature and some more conventional reverb patches for general usage and drums/percussion are also included in this collection.

The Freeze-function in Adaptiverb can create very interesting drones and pad sounds, so Colored Spaces also contain 48 presets with frozen ambiences, pads, drones and otherworldly textures which can be used as a starting point for sound design and/or as an inspirational source for new musical excursions. Falcon Singles - Acoustic E-Bow released!

Multi-sampled acoustic steel string guitar played with an e-bow, a much expanded and falconized version of the acoustic guitar sounds in Sonic Cinema for HALion 5. New samples were added, wavetables extracted and patched, electronic derivates and soundscapes were produced and some processed e-bowed mandolin sounds were created to compose a unique collection of sounds.

Many patches use the multi-granular engine, then there are patches using multi-samples over the entire instrument range, several animated wavetable pads/drones and sounds using the samples to excite the pluck oscillator are also included. Expressively playable instruments create sizzling timbres with rich harmonics that sometimes remind of indian instruments like the sitar and santoor, some patches sound big and cinematic, others produce mellow and embracing tones.

Up to 20+ Macros and switches plus the modulation wheel are assigned in each patch, many presets also use aftertouch, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude- and pitch modulations, EQ-ing, dynamics, stereo animation, granular parameters and more. All patches use some sort of background image in the UI, split patches have colored key-zones in the Falcon keyboard for easier navigation.

Transformed Reality for MXXXCore contains 114 creative patches including 24 variations for transforming your sonic reality. From granular soundscape-generators to animated gates and dancing filters, from ethereal texture-izers to dark and brooding drone-makers, from warped spaces and tempo-synced delay patches to creamy unison pad-ifiers, from granular stutter mayhem to beautiful harmonic ambiences, whatever reality you feed into these presets will be transformed in a very musical, interesting and useful way, occasionally creating bizarre and surreal sounds you might not have heard before.

All patches are programmed 100% wet, so they can be inserted on a buss (or bus, the spelling seems to be undecided here) and have between 4 - 16 labelled Macros assigned which are accessible on the "easy"-page in MXXXCore, often the Macros and switches are sorted in panels. Falcon Singles - Glockenspiel released

Multi-sampled glockenspiel, a much expanded version of the glockenspiel found in my sound library Aureus Ventus for HALion 5. More pitches were sampled for this release, making it a total of 19 pitches sampled between G4 - C7 (all “white“ keys +C#5), sampled at 3 velocity layers, the lower 2 played with hard plastic mallets, the highest velocity played with metallic mallets for some extra PING. Also more electronic samples and some wavetables were produced, all derived from glockenspiel sounds and phrases in order to create beautiful, ethereal and haunting glockenspiel soundscapes, drones, textures, plucks, an animated wavetable pad and a multi-sampled spectral pad.

Up to 20+ Macros and switches plus the modulation wheel are assigned in each patch, many patches also use aftertouch, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude- and pitch modulations, dynamics, stereo animation and more. ArcSyn for Arrows released on patchpool

Arrows for SPC ArcSyn deeply explores this unique synth, unfolding it's raw and untamed timbres, it's lush and embracing pad sounds, it's dark drones and futuristic textures, expressive leads and intricate tempo-synced sequences, wondrous soundscapes, one-finger-chords, ambient miniatures, brass sounds, keys, crystalline bells, delicate sweeps, punchy basses and plucks and it's expressive vowel filter making for some very human sounding vocal sounds. 

Inter-modulating LFOs and well structured LFO-sequences breathe a lot of life into these sounds which can be used for a wide variety of styles as the numerous audio and video examples demonstrate. In quite a few patches all 16 slots in the modulation matrix were used to create complex modulation routings and provide as much user control over a patch as musically sensible.

All patches have the modulation wheel assigned, most also use aftertouch and velocity in order to provide expressively playable synthruments. Phonemklatura for PPG Phonem released

Phonemklatura contains 108 patches (including some variations) for the unique vocal synthesizer Phonem by Wolfgang Palm/PPG. These sounds are not aiming at any kind of vocal pseudo-realism, on the contrary, I am using the versatile and expressive vocal character of this synthesizer to create beautiful and delicate pads, ethereal overtone textures, fragile and edgy leads, haunting and alien voices, phonetic experiments, tempo-synced vocaloid mayhem, percussive mallet-like timbres, robotic voices, fantasy beings and other synthetic sounds only faintly reminding of their vocal origin.

Often Phonem's wavetable synthesizer is used to excite the vocal resonators using wavetables extracted from acoustic instruments like brass, woodwinds, string instruments, mallets and electronic textures with PPG’s Wavemapper, expanding the possible palette of sounds even more.

All sounds make extensive use of Phonem's x/y-pads which can be automated in any DAW and the modulation wheel, quite a few patches also use aftertouch.

As Phonem's onboard effects are very basic and are rarely used in any of these patches, I included some of the original LogicX demo projects containing Midi data and 3rd party effect plugins, and a Cubase 8-project with some effect chains using the native Cubase plugins, so you could use these settings as a starting point.
