Carmen is an ambiguous Latin word meaning chant, magical formular, incantation, poem. Following these terms, Carmen for Unfiltered Audio BYOME is a unique collection of patches comprising ambient soundscape-makers which will transform the incoming audio into fascinating and wondrous musical and sometimes alien textures. You will also find rhythmical gates, glitch-makers and filter-scapes, granular mayhem and complex delay lines, experimental craziness, deep spaces, stereo madness, complex drum processors and other effect combinations words fail to describe.
All 102 presets are programmed 100% wet for inserting the plug-in on a bus, up to 8 Macros are assigned per patch for quick and easy interaction with the presets.
While programming the presets for Carmen, numerous acoustic instruments, percussion, drums but also synthetic sounds were used as audio input in order to create patches which are useful in a musical context but also for sound design and post production.

Elevation for Icarus offers a wealth of evolving and organic sounds derived from many different acoustic and electronic sources. Dozens of samples were especially prepared to make the best of the re-synthesis algorithms in Icarus, vocal tones and phrases, speech, woodwinds, brass instruments, bells, percussion instruments, strings and electronic sounds were used as audio sources, the resulting wavetables were further processed and edited in Icarus. Some patches have been created entirely inside the onboard wavetable editor. From lush pads and elevating soundscapes to dark and massive drones, haunting atmospheres, beautiful textures, pristine plucks and complex sequencers, this sound library will elevate your music.
All patches have the modulation wheel assigned which often introduces rhythmical, tempo-synced modulations and/or interesting animation of morph, filter, amplitude and FX, a lot of presets also use aftertouch and velocity as modulation sources.

Falcon Scapes Vol3 focusses on long evolving soundscapes and drones, musical beds, wavetable-based pads, sound effects and other electronic sounds. Many of the soundscape samples are several minutes long, often with a distinct tonality, some explore the more experimental, darker side of things. Often granular textures and sample maps are layered with Falcon's internal sound generators creating dense and fascinating sounds usable for a wide variety of genres. Quite a few patches make use of the new features introduced in Falcon version 1.5 (wavetable FM and frequency shifter FX).
Many of these presets are running in split mode and/or layer sound textures via key-switches. Up to 25+ Macros and switches plus the modulation wheel are assigned in each patch, many also use aftertouch, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude and pitch modulations, EQ-ing, dynamics, stereo animation, effects and more. Often complex tempo-synced modulation assignments are programmed so that these patches can provide interesting rhythmical animations. All patches use some sort of background image in the UI, split patches have colored key-zones in the Falcon keyboard for easier navigation.

The migration of my patchpool.net domain was successful (patchpool.de is still pending), as of today it's up and running again with my new provider. Unfortunately my former provider (STRATO) deleted all e-mail accounts related to my domains, so for now I am using new e-mail addresses until I can retrieve the old ones. The customer service with the new provider is superb...
Since March 6 patchpool.net is offline due to spam bots which hacked my entire webspace (so all my other websites are offline as well) and the provider has not yet cleared my webspace and I can't predict how long it will take.
With Easter coming up, I don't want anybody to miss out on inspiring patchpool sounds, so just contact me via orderATpatchpoolDOTnet, and let me know what you ant to get.

Painting with sound on sonic canvas using broad and delicate brushes, creating an exhibition of sculpted sound around a musical well, Panopticon is a collection of expressive, evocative, soothing, playful, dark, exciting, often cinematic patches, also focussing on the granular capabilities of the hybrid monster named Avenger.
The patches in Panopticon make use of re-synthesized/wave-tabled vocal, instrumental and electronic tones, processed field recordings, multi-sampled acoustic instruments like electric/acoustic guitar, soprano saxophone, accordion, singing bowls (also bowed), crystal bowls, wavetable-based drones, pads, sequencers and synths, granular/multi-sampled soundscapes, re-synthesized/wave-tabled hardware synths and more. Quite a few patches utilize the new cross-FM feature introduced in Avenger version 1.3, which allows for frequency modulation (FM) between oscillators.
There is some overlap in the content folders for granular and sampling sources as Avenger converts a given sample/multi-sample either as a sampling source or as a granular source.

For the first version of this library, I used 14 drone samples from my SoundPack Droneland and also made 9 new samples derived from electronic sources and field recordings. In 2017 this library was updated/extended to 42 presets, adding another 29 wav samples and 22 presets.
Many of these sounds are huge and deep tonal drones with a cinematic touch, but you‘ll also find some more experimental textures, atonal timbres and haunting tones. All patches have the modulation wheel assigned, many also use aftertouch or velocity as modulation source.
There are now 42 presets using 52 samples - 1.37 GB of audio samples (wav) produced in 48 Khz/24 Bit stereo. As the samples are not encrypted, they can be used in other sample players, granular synthesizers or directly in your DAW.
You can view/download the PDF for Droneland with more details, the licence agreement and the patch list including playing tips and short descriptions for the controller assignments in each patch here.

Cornucopia for HALion 6 provides a wealth of predominantly wavetable-based patches, all wavetables were be produced exclusively for this sound library by re-synthesizing dozens of samples from various acoustic instruments (string instruments, woodwinds, brass), vocals, percussion and electronic textures.
The sounds focus on warm and moving pads, dark and epic drones, digital hybrids, animated sequences, profound bass and pluck sounds, cinematic textures and soundscapes, crispy mallets and obscure sound effects. Some patches also layer the wavetable synth with Halion's granular and/or sampling engine, some patches also make use of Halion's analog synth, a few patches only use the granular and/or sampling oscillators. All presets have a designed Macro interface with a background image, more complex modulation routings are sometimes also assigned to the eight Quick Controls at the bottom of the main interface and the modulation wheel, quite a few presets also make use of aftertouch.
The wav-samples in Cornucopia are a mixture of field recordings, soprano sax tones and phrases, a huge gong recorded open air in a garden, tubular chimes (also recorded in that garden), electronic soundscapes, multi-sampled synth sounds and experimental electronic textures. All wavetables are embedded in the preset files, yet an additional folder with all wavetables used in Cornucopia (plus some extra ones) is included in the download folder, so that the user can easily create new patches using these tables.
You can view/download the PDF for this soundlibrary including the license agreement, more relevant info and a detalled patchlist here.
Specifications:
103 tagged presets
155 wavetables (153.1 MB, also available in a separate folder for easy access).
769.9 MB of original samples (67 wavs / 48 Khz / 24 Bit / stereo)
The full version of HALion 6 is required to play the patches from this library.
Please note: With the current release version of HALion 6, all tempo-synced envelopes programmed for this library play out of sync with the DAW and other HALion modulators (step modulator/LFOs). This is a known issue and will be fixed with the first maintenance update of HALion (version 6.0.1), to be released very soon.
All demos were produced entirely with HALion 6 using only patches from Cornucopia, no post-processing was applied apart from a limiter on the outputs and some volume automation, if several instances of HALion were used in a track.
Here is a Youtube playlist with video demos for this library and other wavetable experiments which led to the creation of this sound libray. There is also a tutorial for the wavetable synth towards the bottom of the list.
Multi-sampled HANG percussion, deeply sampled with plenty of articulations, textures and electronic derivatives. The nine pitches of the Hang were sampled at 5 velocity layers and 6x round robin, two articulations were sampled (mallet/hand), also the backside of the Hang was captured, producing some remarkable sub-bass tones. Dynamic tremolos for each pitch (hand/fingers/mallet) were also recorded, dozens of little rubber balls were inserted into the instrument creating sublime pentatonic textures, wavetables were extracted from Hang samples, textural Hang sounds were re-synthesized and processed with a plethora of sonic tools to compose a unique collection of mellow, beautiful, mysterious, haunting and new-age sounds. The original tuning of the Hang was preserved in many patches, in quite a few presets there is a Macro installed which will tune the samples to the traditional tempered tuning.
Up to 25+ Macros and switches are assigned in each patch, most presets make use of the modulation wheel, many patches also use aftertouch and modulation via velocity, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude- and pitch modulations, dynamics, EQ, stereo animation and more.
All patches use some sort of background image in the UI, split patches have colored key-zones in the Falcon keyboard for easier navigation.
All Hang samples were produced at a resolution of wav 48Khz/24 Bit/stereo - recorded in L-C-R with 3 Neumann microphones, all signals are phase-aligned.

This third patchpool set for Serum explores this unique synthesizer to the bone, using conventional and more often unconventional sound design techniques. There are no restrictions, the goal was to create creative, inspiring and musical sounds with the best possible sound quality for each patch.
The palette of timbres in this set addresses and will inspire composers from many genres who are searching for smooth animated pads, complex soundscapes, intricate and minimal sequences, mellow and expressive leads, sparkling bells, percussive impacts, otherworldly noises, cinematic textures and gloomy drones.
Dozens of wavetables were extracted from the vast pool of patchpool samples, others were created inside the Serum waveform editor, images were wave-tabled/re-synthesized, many patches layer two wavetable oscillators and also incorporate the sample and sub oscillator. Numerous samples were created exclusively for this set, others were borrowed from various patchpool libraries. Each patch has four Macros and the modulation wheel assigned, velocity is used as an important modulator - not only for volume - many presets also use aftertouch, giving the Serumist deep control to shape the sounds and adapt them to a given musical context.

Resonantia is a sonic universe in which the laws of physics apply and dissolve at the same time. This soundset explores the second version of Chromaphone in depth, making extensive use of the new resonator models, the updated FX section, the unison-mode and the arpeggiator. Pushing the boundaries of consonance and dissonance, expressive chromatic percussion sounds and catchy plucks meet futuristic drones and otherworldly cinematic textures, edgy unison leads and punchy bass sounds clash with mellow pads and hybrid fantasy instruments, microtonal textures from another world unite with hypnotic pads and ethnic percussion. A wide array of timbres suitable for a broad range of musical styles is waiting for the Chromaphone connoisseur.
As the Midi controller assignments for aftertouch and the modulation wheel can only be assigned globally in Chromaphone 2, many patch descriptions in the preset browser (and the patch list) contain suggestions for controller assignments, expanding the sonic possibilities of this unique instrument even more.
You can view/download the PDF for Modelled Reality with more details, the licence agreement and the patch list including playing tips and descriptions for each patch here.

Pushing the boundaries of consonance and dissonance, expressive chromatic percussion sounds and catchy plucks meet futuristic drones and otherworldly cinematic textures, edgy unsion leads and metallic bass sounds clash with mellow pads and hybrid fantasy instruments. A wide array of timbres suitable for a broad range of musical styles is waiting for the Chromaphone connoisseur.
As the Midi controller assignments for aftertouch and the modulation wheel can only be assigned globally in Chromaphone 2, many patch descriptions in the preset browser will contain suggestions for controller assignments, expanding the sonic possibilities of this unique instrument even more.

Multi-sampled glockenspiel, a much expanded version of the glockenspiel found in my sound library Aureus Ventus for HALion 5. More pitches were sampled for this release, making it a total of 19 pitches sampled between G4 - C7 (all “white“ keys +C#5), sampled at 3 velocity layers, the lower 2 played with hard plastic mallets, the highest velocity played with metallic mallets for some extra PING. Also more electronic samples and some wavetables were produced, all derived from glockenspiel sounds and phrases in order to create beautiful, ethereal and haunting glockenspiel soundscapes, drones, textures, plucks, an animated wavetable pad and a multi-sampled spectral pad.
Up to 20+ Macros and switches plus the modulation wheel are assigned in each patch, many patches also use aftertouch, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude- and pitch modulations, dynamics, stereo animation and more. All patches use some sort of background image in the UI, split patches have colored key-zones in the Falcon keyboard for easier navigation.

Arrows for SPC ArcSyn deeply explores this unique synth, unfolding it's raw and untamed timbres, it's lush and embracing pad sounds, it's dark drones and futuristic textures, expressive leads and intricate tempo-synced sequences, wondrous soundscapes, one-finger-chords, ambient miniatures, brass sounds, keys, crystalline bells, delicate sweeps, punchy basses and plucks and it's expressive vowel filter making for some very human sounding vocal sounds.
Inter-modulating LFOs and well structured LFO-sequences breathe a lot of life into these sounds which can be used for a wide variety of styles as the numerous audio and video examples demonstrate. In quite a few patches all 16 slots in the modulation matrix were used to create complex modulation routings and provide as much user control over a patch as musically sensible.
All patches have the modulation wheel assigned, most also use aftertouch and velocity in order to provide expressively playable synthruments. You can view/download the PDF for Arrows with more details, the license agreement and the patch list including playing tips and detailed descriptions for each patch here.
